Dear Colleagues!
We would like to invite undergraduates, postgraduates and lecturers of your institution to participate in the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference «Innovations in Architecture, Design and Art».
The conference will be held on May 25–26, 2023 at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv, Ukraine. {1}
The purpose of the conference is to deepen and develop innovative knowledge in the theory, history and practice of architecture, urban planning and design; to comprehensively exchange modern experience in the fields of urban planning and architecture; to highlight current issues of education in these fields; to improve the qualification level of architects, designers and artists.
The following sections are represented at the Conference:
Section 1. Architecture and Urban Planning
Thematic directions:
- Urban planning and sustainable development of cities;
- Architecture of buildings – modern vector for development;
- Restoration and reconstruction of buildings – innovative practices;
- Urban design;
- Formation of public spaces;
- Landscape architecture and design;
- Personalities in architecture;
- Synthesis of architecture, fine arts and visual arts;
- Modern technologies in architecture and construction;
- Innovative building materials in architecture and design;
- Energy saving and resources in building and architecture;
- Current problems in architectural education.
Section 2. Design
Thematic directions:
- Theory, methodology and practice of design;
- Recycling;
- Design of interiors of public and residential premises – modern tendencies;
- Modern object design in an urban environment;
- Technical aesthetics, applied geometry;
- Graphic design;
- IT visualizations in design;
- Entrepreneurial aspects of design activities;
- Current trends in design education in Ukraine and abroad.
Section 3. Art
- Contemporary Ukrainian art is the art of war;
- Historical and theoretical issues of contemporary art;
- Problems of contemporary art education,
- Problems of contemporary art and art management;
- Personalities of the contemporary cultural and artistic space;
- Restoration of works of fine, decorative and applied arts.
Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.
The conference will result in publication of the conference proceedings, which will be posted on the website of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.
The participants of the conference will have the opportunity to submit a scientific paper to the Collection of scientific works Ukrayinska Akademiya Mystetstva (Ukrainian Academy of Arts) via https://naoma-science.kiev.ua/index.php/journal
Participation requirements
To participate in the conference and to publish your abstract please:
- fill in the application form by following the link: https://forms.gle/mT3SgdycuNiomeeJA
- send you abstract in a digital form to the e-mail of the conference organizing committee [email protected] by May 15, 2023.
Requirements for report preparation:
- maximum volume – 2 sheets A4;
- MS Word Times New Roman;
- line spacing – 1;
- margins – 2;
- paragraph indent – 1.
Rules for abstracts formatting:
- Last name, First name, Middle name of the author/authors (Times New Roman 14), degree (Times New Roman 14 italic);
- Full name of the organization (Times New Roman 12 italic);
- In a line: the title in capital letters (Times New Roman 14 bold);
- The text of the abstract should contain: problem, relevance, originality, research results, conclusions (Times New Roman 14), list of references if necessary;
- File name: section number, dash, author’s name (for example, 1-Bondarenko.docx)
Attention!
- The content of the abstracts is preliminarily reviewed by the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject the application for participation in the conference due to non-compliance with the registration procedure, improper execution of documents, discrepancy of the report’s topic with the conference thematic directions or lack of novelty. The author is responsible for the content and editing of the abstract.
- The maximum number of authors in one report is no more than 2 people.

At the end of the conference, all participants will receive a certificate of participation by e-mail.
{1} Due to the full-scale war caused by Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the conference will be held online.
