З метою зміцнення українсько-фінських відносин в освітній, науковій та культурній сферах, популяризації української культури і мистецтва на міжнародному рівні, а також активізації академічної співпраці та розбудови потенціалу мистецької освіти через розширення зв’язків із фінськими ЗВО та фінською системою мистецької освіти, НАОМА та Університет прикладних наук Оулу (OAMK), Фінляндія розробили спільний проєкт “Дизайн з Україною” (Design with Ukraine), який переміг в конкурсі заявок на фінансування під Програмою Team Finland Knowledge (TFK) і отримав грант на реалізацію проєкту від Національної агенції освіти Фінляндії у розмірі 62,750.00 євро.
Основні заходи проєкту “Дизайн з Україною” охоплюють два напрямки:
1) віртуальну співпрацю через онлайн-зустрічі між співробітниками обох ЗВО в рамках міжнародних відділів, кафедр графічного дизайну і сценографії та екранних мистецтв з боку НАОМА та відповідних кафедр Університету прикладних наук Оулу;
2) мобільність студентів та співробітників НАОМА до OAMK для навчання та участі у співпраці над спільними проєктами у галузях графічного дизайну й сценографії та екранних мистецтв.
В рамках співпраці за проєктом “Дизайн з Україною” 29 листопада 2023 року було підписано міжінституційну угоду між НАОМА та OAMK про академічні обміни студентами та співробітниками обох ЗВО протягом 5 років.
Наприкінці вересня – на початку жовтня 2023 року в НАОМА було проведено 1 етап відбору студентів. Відбувся відкритий конкурс серед студентів кафедр графічного дизайну і сценографії та екранних мистецтв, в результаті якого було обрано три претенденти на навчання за програмою обміну, які у жовтні 2023 року пройшли 2 етап відбору безпосередньо від фахівців OAMK.
Згідно з Угодами про навчання від 1 грудня 2023 року студенти кафедр графічного дизайну і сценографії та екранних мистецтв виїхали на навчання в OAMK на денній формі здобуття освіти протягом весняного семестру 2024 року з 4 січня 2024 по 24 травня 2024 року, опановуючи 4 освітні курси Університету OAMK.
Також на запрошення Центру мистецьких інновацій OAMK з січня по червень 2024 року до Університету OAMK було відряджено провідного фахівця міжнародного відділу НАОМА для розбудови тривалої співпраці між НАОМА та ОAMK – провідного університету світового центру високих технологій.

To strengthen Ukrainian–Finnish relations in the educational, scientific and cultural spheres, to promote Ukrainian culture and art internationally, as well as to intensify academic cooperation and build the capacity of art education through expanding collaboration with Finnish universities and the Finnish art education system, the NAFAA and the Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OAMK), Finland, developed a joint project “Design with Ukraine“, which won the call for proposals for funding under the Team Finland Knowledge (TFK) Programme and received a project grant from the Finnish National Agency for Education in the amount of 62,750.00 euros.
The main activities of the Design with Ukraine project cover two areas:
1) virtual cooperation through online meetings between the staff from the international offices, Departments of Graphic Design and Scenography and Sreen Arts of the NAFAA and corresponding departments of the Oulu University of Applied Sciences;
2) mobility of students and staff from the NAFAA to OAMK to study and participate in cooperation on joint projects in the fields of graphic design and scenography and screen arts.
As part of the Design with Ukraine project, an inter-institutional agreement was signed between the NAFAA and the OAMK on 29 November 2023 on academic exchanges of students and staff of both universities for 5 years.
In late September – early October 2023, the 1st stage of student selection was accomplished at the NAFAA. An open call was held among students of the Departments of Graphic Design and Scenography and Screen Arts, which resulted in the selection of three applicants for the exchange programme, who in October 2023 passed the 2nd stage of selection directly from the OAMK specialists.
According to the Learning Agreements dated 1 December 2023, students of the Departments of Graphic Design and Scenography and Screen Arts went to study at the OAMK as full-time students during the spring semester of 2024 from 4 January 2024 to 24 May 2024, taking 4 educational courses at the OAMK.
Also, at the invitation of the OAMK Centre for Artistic Innovation, a leading specialist of the NAFAA International Office was seconded to the OAMK from January to June 2024 to develop long-term cooperation between the NAFAA and the OAMK, a leading university in the world’s centre of high technology.
